Look, you can kvetch, complain, and find all sorts of excuses for not doing it, but it is absolutely a fact that if you do not get your work, your name, your credibility, and your professionalism in front of people who can hire you, they will not - you know - hire you.
It is a numbers game.
Building a good list takes time, but not forever. Get after it starting today. Find one or two possible clients each day for two weeks, and get those emails into your program.
It is a process, a system, that works.
Not doing it is a guarantee of obscurity.
It just is.
