Friday Wrap Up, Portraits, Airline Magazine Assignment, and Do I Risk My Butt?
As the heat heats up, I am debating my yearly ride to Montana. Sigh.
Do I Drive or Do I Ride?
It’s Friday, so we are all getting ready for the weekend, right?
I am having a devil of a time planning my road trip this summer. I usually take off on my motorcycle, but the temps all around us are scorching, and riding in 90+ degrees for 6 -7 hours is a real pain. I can handle a couple of hours, but Nevada is burning up, as is Wyoming and northern Colorado.
And Arizona is broiling.
So the question is; should I road trip by car?
I am not sure I want to do that. I simply love motorcycling, so I am making tentative plans in case the heat abates, but it is not looking good for two wheels.
Or maybe I am just a wuss.
BTW, I am now a columnist at Discover Walks, an online journal. They are getting nearly two million views a day, so I am pretty excited about it. I will be photographing and writing two to three articles a month.
We begin the Environmental Portrait Workshop next week, and I have but one last opening. If you want to up your game in portraiture, this class will give you enough to think about for a lifetime as well as a whole new portrait portfolio.
