Make your clients seek you out. It is better than stalking them and begging.

Good Friday morning, Subscriber Tribe.

Today we look at changing our ways of thinking about clients and client acquisition. Do we want to trick our clients into hiring us? Manipulate them into signing the deal?

Or do we want them to chase us to the far corners of the universe with POs in their hands screaming “take my money, please sign the contract…”

OK, yeah, maybe they aren’t gonna really do that, but you get the point. Se spend an inordinate amount of time chasing clients when we could focus a bit of that effort on getting them to chase us. More below the break.

It is becoming increasingly clear that photographers need to break out their creativity and expand it into other directions in order to maintain a sustainable business. The model of a stand-alone photographer who only makes photographs is fading.
