Recently, photographer Donn Dobkin posted this breakdown of a remarkable shoot he did of an exotic mushroom farmer.
He tells a truly fun story of working with a reticent subject and creating a truly unique portrait of someone who spends most of their life away from lights and cameras.
Check it out. Dobkin’s blog is new, but it is coming on nicely.
In the title, he referenced the idea that some photographers believe marketing is drudgery, something to be scowled upon, or dirty and unworthy of our efforts.
