We spend a lot of time under sprinklers in our backyard. Kinda feels like we are being basted as we broil. Hmmm… Photo by me.

Monday morning, and another scorcher here in the desert southwest.

I am so ready to ride my motorcycle, but with these temps, it is absolutely miserable. Think standing in front of a blow dryer on high. Yeah, like that.

I know, I know… come January we desert dwellers forget this and are all sending photos of us BBQing in shorts to our friends in Jersey and Maine. But that is just us humans being adaptable.

A Short Reminder

Why Every Setback is Your Next Setup for Success

You know, I’ve been there, done that - tasted big wins and faced tough and traumatic fails. But I realize that every failure is just my internal GPS saying, "Let's reroute!"

Have you never taking a wrong turn?

Impressive. Really damned impressive!

But you may possibly be missing out.

I can’t imagine always winning - would it still feel special or just another Tuesday?

For me, real success is marked by stumbles, challenges to overcome, and comebacks.

Yep, some are born into success and never taste the grind.

But I think they miss out on pushing their limits, finding their rhythm, and the thrill of setting and smashing demanding goals.

My advice: Embrace each setback.

They could just be setting you up for the next big win.
