So many things happening in the P52 and LE world, and I realize that I am not letting folks know enough.
So today we change that up.
A short, tasty chunk of content for fun.
Over at Project 52 this week we had some amazing pieces turned in for the classes. Here are a few.
Clockwise from top left: Rob Scamp, Jan Sohlke, Tracy Hoffman, Ken Lamb.
In the Mentorship Group, we had some wonderful images this week as well.

Row three: Joyce Leong, Amy Roth, Gregg Robinson.
It has been quite a week with website issues that seem daunting to my host (promised to have the site back up this afternoon), and that makes me look even more positive on hosted solutions like Squarespace and Format.
If you are running a business, nobody got no time for that… seriously!
AI for Photographers (Not Images)
Next week we will have a live program to discuss how AI can help us market more efficiently. This will be a live show. I will let you know the date and time in the next post. No image generation, just the tools for Chat and marketing. It is both fascinating and practical, and that is what we must understand.
24 Frames In May
Our film shooter contest is on. The goal is to turn in a single contact sheet (24 frames of film) and two images from that roll. There will be a gallery, and there are some amazing prizes in the works.
24 Frames In May (film is certainly not dead)
Visual Story Telling (Storytelling with your camera)
This workshop begins a week from today. We are going to take a deep dive into ways photography can be used to develop or support a narrative. From illustrating a story to creating a story, this will be a most delightful workshop
Each week we have a class and a review of the week’s assignment images. The classes and reviews are live.
At the end of the class, we will have the images put into a book (PDF and paper) for all of the participants to share.
I have only two spots left if you are interested.

30 Day Portfolio Slam
We are going into the last stretch of the portfolio-building workshop and it is progressing nicely. I am so excited to share the new portfolios from our intrepid workshoppers who have created portfolios, projects, and books in a month.
The class is not open, but you can find out more about it here:
THE PAID SUBSCRIPTION MODEL HELPS SUPPORT ME
Are you thinking to yourself, “What reasons could possibly exist that would make me want to pay for a subscription to this, or any other newsletter?”
I get it. I do. But, see, here’s the thing.
There is value in the paid version that cannot be matched by anything in the known (and unknown) universe. That includes free copies of my books when they are released, information for subscribers only, live shows starting in June, and a heck of a lot of fun. In fact, I am using Chat GPT to locate all the counties and townships where having this much fun could actually be illegal. I’ll keep you apprised.
Take a look and decide for yourself.
Thanks, always love reading your newsletters!
Wow, thanks Don...I'm honored...very grateful.
See you Saturday...Gena
