Don, I enjoyed your post about riding through my home state of Colorado. Hard not to love it, even with the excess of Teslas, Beamers, Rovers, etc.

Just an FYI, the abandoned white buildings beside the road (like the one in your photo) are usually abandoned country schools. Occasionally they are churches, but usually schools. Often still have the swing set decaying in the back. They are quite typical throughout the plains areas of the midwest.
