Creating "evangelists".. wow! That is a difficult one. It seems that people don't do much evangelizing anymore about things they love... Any thoughts on this?

Well, you are correct, it is harder to do.

But possible with people who really like you, and the work you do.

How do others do it?

Collaborations is one way that can work with a bit of effort.

Ideate some ideas on how your photography and their widget or service can be woven together into something bigger than both.

My friend Carla McMahon, South Africa, worked with all the local Gin makers in her area and produced a book of Gin recipes. Greg Kindred, Kansas City, did the same with local brewers. Sohfong, Cincinnatti, created a book for her Macon client and they used it as a giveaway, premium sales tool. All of these folks ended up with evangelists who were invested in a positive way.

The path may not be easy, but it is worth scoping out.

Incentives can help, as can "matchmaking".

I would put one client with another to make good deals and I was the hero to both.
