It’s added to my list. Funny, I always knew it was beautiful, but until I read your post and saw your images, it hadn’t moved forward in my brain as a call to action. Now it’s there!!!
I was just there a couple of weeks ago, for the first time in 16 years. It’s truly fascinating! It was quite cold there at sunrise even in October but it warmed up quickly. It would be spectacular to see it in the snow!
great work! the snow adds a new layer to the layered formations. Wonderful. I'm hoping to get to the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado once the snow hits. Thanks for this.

You won't be disappointed.
Wow, definitely in the bucket list for that US road-trip planned. Stunning photos Don!
Thank you very much!
Magnificent!
It's my favourite canyon, althought I have not seen it with snow....
Stunning photos..
Oh it is indeed worth the effort to get there to capture the snow. Just adds another dimension to the already stunning landscape.

Stunning in the winter. I have never been but I would much prefer winter over summer.

Thanks Mark, yes it does.
And it gives a new dimension to the already amazing formations.
